  1. Tax Principal - We are looking for an experienced Tax Principal with a potential for a future partnership position for the right candidate. This person must have their CPA license with a minimum of 10 years of experience.

Responsibilities include:

  • Review federal and multi-state tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, trusts, and estates
  • Mentor staff in all facets of work, including workflow, project management, professional development. technical expertise, and small business support.
  • Conversing directly with clients and their advisors, serving as the primary point of contact
  • Building relationships and interacting with clients to provide excellent planning, consulting and superior service
  • Providing tax research and consulting services in response to tax return issues, client requests and identifying opportunities for tax savings and project work for the firm.

Functional/Technical Skills:

  • Be a team player
  • Good at meeting deadlines and solving problems
  • Excellent knowledge of tax accounting, tax compliance and all types of tax returns
  • Exceptional client service along with the ability to develop excellent client relationships
  • Strong leadership and personnel management skills
  • Balance of tax technical knowledge with practical application of tax rules
  • Strong technical and analytical skills, including tax research skills

 

  1. Tax Manager - We are looking for an experienced Tax Manager to lead and manage multiple operations of the tax practice area and to deliver quality tax services. This person must have a CPA license with 7-10 years of experience.

Responsibilities include:

  • Deliver a full range of tax services in compliance with laws and regulations within timeframe
  • Building relationships and interacting with clients to provide excellent planning, consulting and technical expertise and small business support.
  • Keep businesses and individuals compliant with various local, state and federal tax regulations
  • Providing innovative tax planning while reviewing business and individual income tax returns
  • Mentor, supervise and delegate duties to staff

Functional/Technical Skills:

  • Be a team player – willing to roll their sleeves up and prepare tax returns when necessary
  • Good at meeting deadlines and solving problems
  • Excellent knowledge of tax accounting, tax compliance and all types of tax returns
  • Financial statement experience is a plus but the tax aspect is most important for this role
  • Exceptional client service along with the ability to develop excellent client relationships
  • Strong leadership and personnel management skills

 

  1. Senior Accountant - We are looking for an accountant with at least 5 years of experience.

Responsibilities include:

  • Perform the completion of financial statement reviews and compilations
  • Support multiple client engagements of varying size and complexity
  • Helps to complete financial engagements on time and communicates progress and results to supervisors, help to train staff.
  • Proactively interact and communicate with clients to gather information to ensure timely engagement wrap-up and superior client service.

 

Functional/Technical Skills:

  • CPA preferred or actively studying for the CPA exam
  • Experience with private sector entities, closely held business and industry specific knowledge of construction is a plus.
  • Tax preparation experience is a plus but the financial statement aspect is most important for this role provided this candidate is willing to learn the tax aspect of the business.

  1. Bookkeeper / Tax Preparer – We are looking for an experienced bookkeeper with some experience in tax preparation.

Responsibilities include:

  • Working with multiple clients across many industries
  • Reconciliation of bank and credit card statements
  • Analyzing balance sheet and profit and loss accounts for any needed adjustments
  • Interaction with clients to collect information as well as follow up with questions.
  • Assisting clients with any clean up and catch up accounting/bookkeeping work

Functional/Technical Skills:

  • Experience with Quickbooks Desktop as well as Quickbooks Online
  • Exceptional client service along with the ability to develop excellent client relationships
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail oriented with strong organization skills
  • Tax preparation experience is a plus but the bookkeeping is most important for this role
  • Ability to work with many clients simultaneously

 

Administrative Assistant – We are looking for an experienced administrative assistant.

Responsibilities include:

  • Answering multi-line phone system and greet clients
  • Help clients with questions and schedule appointments
  • Maintain electronic and paper filing systems

Functional/Technical Skills:

  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • Exceptional client service with strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail oriented with strong organization skills
  • Ability to work with many clients simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Proactively approaches professional responsibilities
  • Completes work in a timely manner
